The French Video Streaming service PinkX has announced the nominations for their annual PinkX Video Awards and again this year, Titanmen nailed numerous awards for their movies and scenes.

Starting with TWO nominations in the Best International Film category, Titanmen scored nods for both our Political Satire Cauke For Free and the Cauke spin-off Silverlake.

Muscle stud Jason Vario was singled out for his performance as the beefy, hung security guard in Cauke For Free, getting a nomination for Best Actor.

Silverlake got a second nomination in the form of a Best Orgy scene for the the 3-way scene with Dallas Steel, David Benjamin and Vinnie Stefano.

Time Again For Another Spot-On Gay Comic Geek Review (of Dick Danger)

We always love it when Gay Comic Geek reviews our movies… and we figured he’d love this one because Dick Danger 2: Return Of The Dick is a comic book come to life.

Inspired by 60s spy novels, detective comics and gangster TV shows, Jasun Mark’s Dick Danger 2: Return Of The Dick was a huge hit at Titanmen and showcased the incredible Liam Knox (assuming the role of Dick) in all his glory.

One cool thing is that the scene with Hans and Hunter was shot years ago so keep them looking the same and to ensure that they’d both be back for the sequel. Hunter plays a goon in the original movie and Hans plays one of “the Germans” who was there getting the “Wallaby” which was, in fact, played by Jasun Mark’s dog Max.

Director’s Blog: Making Bad Cop with Dallas and Dakota

WHAT a great scene. It kinda felt like we bowled a perfect set. There were so many strange things that not only lead up to this scene but how this scene pretty much put the button on the end of this movie.

This scene was supposed to feature Tex Davidson instead of Dakota but thanks to my own poor communication and planning (read more about that here), I had to call Dakota that morning and hire a car to go get him. He arrived on set literally at 10:30 and we were shooting by 10:45.

We laughed a lot. We were kinda time-tight so we just kept going. Almost non-stop. We wanted to show Dallas’ chest and his huge dick…. so all the positions we did showed off really well.

This was shot in the same location where we shot Bad Cop 1… a fun story. Bad Cop was one of the first movies I directed for Titan. In the original Bad Cop movie, a friend of mine told me “I always wanted to be in porn… can you put me in somewhere?”

No. Not really… so instead of casting him, I got a print of a picture that I had taken of him years before when he was running for IML, and stuck it up on the wall… to my utter surprise, 5 years later, it was still stuck there on the wall in that basement where we were shooting. So… I left it there.

7. Jesse Jackman 8” Cut, vers

Jesse Jackman. One of the longest running exclusives (if not THE longest-running exclusive), being with us here at Titanmen for a whopping 6 years. Making his debut in the movie Surveillance, Jesse has starred in 31 Titan features (Including two as-yet-unreleased coming later this year).

Jesse also makes two short cameos in Incubus 1 (uncredited) and In The Shadows.

Jesse is also one of the few Titanmen who has a writing credit to his name… he co-wrote the scripts for OUT! and Cauke For Free along with Keith Webb and Jasun Mark (the trio won the Grabby for Best Screen Play at the 2017 Grabbys for Cauke For Free).

His huge, muscular frame (he’s 6’1”) would dwarf most big dicks, but Jesse’s massive 8” dick, with his unique “cocksucker’s curve” shape, still looks big. 8. Dred Scott 9” Cut, top

One of the most iconic Titanmen stars ever. Dred Scott had a short but sweet career in porn… only 8 movies to his name. But he remains one of the most popular Titanmen ever.

He jokes that he chose his porn name “to stir up a little controversy as I am multi-racial.” One of the legends was that he was cast in his first movie Slammer without his signature tattoos… but when he arrived on set and took off his shirt, Bryan Mills called up to Bruce Cam and Keith Webb to tell them “you’re going to want to come down and see what’s standing in our studio.”

And a legend was born.

A dedicated top, Dred performed in some of the biggest movies in the Titan library (which says a lot since that catalogue goes back over 20 years). He’s one of the few Titanmen to have a DVD collection dedicated to his best scenes (which you can pick up here). It’s hard to choose one scene to best sum him up, but check out my personal favorite movie Gorge.

9. Cliff Rhodes 9” Cut, top

Cliff Rhodes tells us he likes “Redheads, big dicks and group sex.” He appeared in only 5 Titanmen movies, but that 9”, thick dick remains in the minds of Titanmen fans.

We had a lot of fun making this movie. Keith Webb wrote the script wanting to show the dynamic between older and younger men but to move past the same “My step son” thing.

A movie with only four men in various pairings doesn’t always work but it does here… and Paul also mentions how beautifully it’s shot. Jasun Mark said he wanted to make the movie look like “a 50s post card” with deep, rich colors that made you want to rip off your shirt and jump in. Success.

Most of all, Paul loved the hot action between the hot men. We couldn’t be happier with this review… and we know you’ll love the movie, too.

Director’s Blog: Making BOOM with Liam Knox and Matthew Bosch

This was a fun scene, although every scene has a unique set of challenges.

For the opening scene from the movie Boom, we had a bit of a walk-through of changes that will be coming to the house that’s being renovated. This is the third but kind of fifth movie in the “Titanmen Renovation Series” (that includes Blue Print, Say Uncle, Parole, Demolition and now BOOM).

We started that series with the movie Blue Print that introduced Bruce Beckham to the Titan family and also featured Matthew Bosch, Dallas Steele, Eric Nero, Adam Ramsey, Dirk Caber and Max Sergeant. At the time, Titan had a large house we’d used to shoot a bunch of scenes for various movies (including Rent and Silverlake), but they had decided to renovate it and that meant we had a lot of fresh locations for the movie… but they’d all be construction sites and as time progressed, it would get harder and harder to shoot as we had to grapple with no shower… limited access to electricity and at one point, a house with virtually no walls.

The script called for Matthew to lead Liam down a narrow hallway as he walked him through work that was going to have to be done… This was a rough shot to get that required me to walk backwards down the hallway in front of them with a steady cam while one of our camera men walked with a boom mic right behind me. We lit the shot with lights in each room but that meant that the light level went drastically up and down as they walked past each door… So in post we had to slowly adjust levels through that 20-second clip to help balance out the light as they moved in and out of each light pool.

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of what the shot looked like before and after.

Liam and Matthew are both great guys… Matthew is tall and lean, Liam is shorter but very muscular… the body types contrasted well and their natural chemistry meant that we were able to just shoot the action how it would unravel… We didn’t have a huge space to shoot in, so we had to improvise with props and lighting. Worked well… usually a scene on a couch is hard to shoot but the one we had there was minimal enough that it looked great and allowed us to shoot the men without much in the way.

The one thing I remember more than anything was that it was hot… we couldn’t leave the air conditioning on, so it ended up being very hot inside between takes.

When it came time for cumshots, both men were happy… they told me they’d been so turned on that they’d been holding back for a long time… they both blew their loads fast and we had another scene shot… that’s always a good feeling.

Can we talk about that opening drone shot in Pool Service?

Being the film geek that I am, I often spend more time dissecting things like camera angles, camera movements and lighting than anything else, even when I’m watching porn.

The new scene from Titanmen’s Pool Service features the Titan debut of red-headed bad boy Jack Vidra along with Titanmen exclusive Matthew Bosch. Shot outside in blindingly-bright sun of Palm Springs, the scene is as hot as the sun probably was on their bodies. The chemistry between them was mentioned by fans and reviewers and of course the huge dick of Matthew pounding into Jack’s hole is something you won’t forget soon.

But that film geek in me wanted to know more about that opening drone shot that, in a few seconds, established not only where the action was taking place, but told a story wordlessly and let the viewer feel like they were right by the pool with the men.

Titanmen director Jasun Mark had this to say..

“That location is really sweet… the mountain and the sun beaming down… the cool blue of the pool, the green of the trees… Keith’s script suggested a drone shot showing Jack working while Matthew drove up. Had we just done a static shot of that, Nobody would see Jack working among all those other things. The best choice was to show a static shot of the pool with Jack walking through it. With him being the only thing moving, people would understand that’s where he was. We then had to show that Matthew was arriving at that same time. That meant it all had to happen in one shot: Jack walking to the back of the yard to work while Matthew pulled up in his car.

We did that about 20 times before it was timed perfectly… I sat hidden in the back yard under an awning and steering the drone remotely while my assistant Don Simmer stood behind me relaying directions to Matthew via telephone as he drove up.

I know that nobody is going to be jerking off to that clip, but I think it really enhances the enjoyment of the scene. It was worth the extra effort to add those parts.”
