Gay Comic Geek reviews Cauke For President. (and totally raves about it)

He’s SO adorable.

When Jasun Mark and Keith Webb were writing and casting Cauke For President last summer, the script they had written called for a news anchor, radio “shock jocks” and a video blogger to open the film with a montage of news clips and commentary helping the audience understand who Mike Cauke was. The idea of having former real-life news caster Dallas Steele play one of those parts but they decided instead to cast Dallas in one of the sexual roles which meant the non-sexual parts needed to be cast.

AFER Spokesman, podcaster, blogger and liberal commentator Matt Baume was brought in to play himself. The “Shock Jocks” were played by Jasun Mark and former Randy Blue live show host Don Mike and the video blogger part was given to the one and only Gay Comic Geek. We’ve been trying to get Paul to bring his “Gay Comic Geek” persona to Titanmen for a long time… glad we finally found the perfect cameo role for him.

Paul really nails this one. Even without the story, the sex scenes are hot as hell and the men all deliver. Matthew Bosch is absolutely amazing in his debut role. He knows just how to open to the camera, act his role and emote in all the right ways. But the story, while never taking way from the action, is fun to watch unspool while you watch. We here at Titan are all very proud of this one.

5 Misconceptions About Porn and Pornstars

Mainstream Hollywood has certainly tried to portray what the porn industry is like. Movies like “Boogie Nights” come to mind. Most of those dramas about the business were set in the “golden age” of porn- the late 1970s and 1980s when the VHS tape revolutionized the industry. The reality is, porn, especially gay porn, isn’t like that in 2015. Yet all of us who are performers still get questions and hear the business that seem rather bizarre and dated to us.

1. Fluffers

Yes, I know you want to volunteer for the job. The bad news is, there are no fluffers in gay porn. If someone is having “trouble,” you have your co-star, or your iPad with some “selected content” to arouse you.

2. Drugs

In Hollywood’s depiction of porn, lots of performers are using lots of drugs. In reality, drugs pretty much ruin your performance as a man. In more than fourteen shoots, I have yet to encounter even one performer who was high or even buzzed while doing a scene. Those of us who consider ourselves “professional” want our cocks to be rock hard, and to be in control of our bodies to flex and look best for the camera.

3. Production crew sex

Contrary to what most viewers think, the production crew- cameras, producers, directors, lighting guys- does not suddenly drop what their doing and start having sex with the performers. They have a job to do. We have a job to do. Do they get aroused while shooting us? Sometimes I suspect they do. Most of the time, however, they’ve seen enough fucking and sucking over the years, that we might as well be food they’re photographing. They’re professionals and they’re doing what they’re paid to do. Add to that, many companies, including TitanMen, have specific rules prohibiting the crew from touching the talent. Aside: I wouldn’t mind doing a scene with ANY of our crew members at TitanMen. All of them are attractive guys that I would fuck in a heartbeat.

4. Post scene sex

If you’ve been working at the ice cream shop all day serving all kinds of ice cream, as well as sampling the ice cream, the last night you want when you get home, is have more ice cream. Shooting porn is hard work! Yeah that’s a pun, but it’s also true. You are flexing and posing muscles for hours. You are in challenging positions. You are physically exerting yourself by fucking, top or bottom, for hours at a time. And when it’s time to cum, you’ve got the mental pressure of 6-10 people all waiting on you to shoot a load. When that scene is over, (usually about six hours total) you’re wiped out. For the most part, you’re ready for a big meal (since you’ve eaten very little to look as lean as possible), and you want to sleep for about four hours. More sex is the last thing on your mind.

With that said, off-camera sex does sometimes happen between performers on the days they’re not doing a scene. If you’re in town for five days for two scenes and you have one day between where you’re not shooting, that’s when it’s most likely to happen. It’s still rare though. When you have sex for hours on-camera, finding more sex off-camera on a day off, isn’t nearly as pressing as it is for the average horny guy. I have, however, met guys who are on Grindr or Scruff hours after a scene looking for a hook-up that night or the next day.

5. You develop relationships with your co-stars

Friendships maybe. Relationships few. There aren’t many successful pornstar couples- Jesse Jackman and Dirk Caber are a rarity. Most of the time, we meet a few hours or maybe one day before a scene. Hopefully we talk, try to get to know each other, and develop some kind of cursory friendship. Sadly, not all performers are willing to invest in even that, despite the fact, it makes the scene so much better. Much like an actor in a real Hollywood movie, I want to BE my scene partner’s lover/fuck buddy/husband for that day. My goal is to get into their head and make it as real for them and for me as humanly possible. I generally won’t even text my real partner on the day of a scene because I want my all-consuming focus to be on my screen partner that day. It’s frustrating when other talent isn’t willing to try and make that kind of investment, but few seem to realize what a difference that makes.

For the most part, when a scene is over, all of us board planes and fly to our respective homes all over the country. Sometimes you build meaningful friends like the one I have with Jesse and Dirk. But most of the time, you don’t hear much from your screen partner once it’s over. I think we as performers can and should do better than that. It’s a tough business and all of us need the support of knowing we’re in it together.

Last week TitanMen director Jasun Mark tweeted out an image revealing fan favorite Diesel Washington getting busy on set to the excitement of Titan fans. Trent: Are you single or taken?

Diesel Washington: Single

Trent: If you could get cast with any other performer who would it be and why?
Diesel Washington: That is a loaded question considering I haven’t worked with many models. I like to work with whom ever wants to work with me. It makes the chemistry better. But If I had to go on record it would probably be Marcus Mojo/Landon Myscles. Met him years ago and just was a cool guy off camera.

Trent: You’ve said that you’re more soft and sensitive off screen, would you say that your on screen dominant persona is a way to express a different side of you?

Diesel Washington: Way different! I tend to be more quiet and sensitive in real life. I just like laying around and watching movies and stuff. Being a performer lets me express the inner demon we all have inside. I feel powerful on set, because I know Titan will capture that image that I want to display to fans. I love comic books, and my Diesel persona lets me be this larger than life character. I was a skinny Geek in high school so being this big intimidating guy on film is a way for me to silence the skinny geek still inside of me. Besides I like the whole process of film making(except Stills) I find it interesting to create something from scratch and see what you get in the process.

Trent: You’re a comic book geek, what was your favorite comic growing up? Do you go to Comic Con or other conventions? Do you find comic book culture to be a common fantasy outlet amongst gay men and/or pornstars?

Diesel Washington: I collected X-Men, Silver Surfer, Dr. Strange, and countless others. To say I am a Comic Geek is an understatement. I used to go to a lot of Comic Book conventions dressed as The Punisher or Bishop (see attached pic, blue suit with X-Men belt). I think the fantasy is there for all guys. We all want that super muscle guy in tights to save the day. That body type is cartoonish in nature with their broad shoulders and huge chest and arms. It is like looking at an action figure, and we all played with those as children.

Trent: You’ve got a website in the works, can you tell us about it yet?

Diesel Washington: Keep that quiet for now…Sssh.

Trent: You’ve tweeted that you are an “Advocate for Diversity”? What do you think it would take for the adult industry to progress in terms of casting men of color? Do you think this will improve as the industry progresses?

Diesel Washington: Advocate for Diversity, it sounds grand right? I’m just a man of color model in an industry that doesn’t use enough men of color in their films. One of the reasons I decided to come back to TitanMen is because they believe in Diversity. A Hot man is a Hot man. On the whole, there is not enough Diversity in Gay porn. I can count the number of Black/Latin/Asian models in the industry and its kind of sad. As gay men we are a diverse bunch and that is not being represented in mainstream gay porn. Truth be told, Gay porn can be at times ageist, Sexist, and Racist. As time progresses, I hope filmmakers besides Titan, would wise up and embrace all races because beauty comes in all different shapes and forms. However, only time will tell.

Trent: What do you have in the works for TitanMen?

Diesel Washington: I have a lot coming. The bosses want Me to keep everything Quiet..But find me on Twitter DieselWashXXX (*wink)

Trent: What was it like to grow up in Brooklyn? How are West Coast attitudes different than East Coast attitudes?

Diesel Washington: I was born in Brooklyn and grew up on Staten Island so that should help all the stalkers out there. Can I just say this? The weather in LA is great and all, and LA is a great place to visit but I’m a East coast guy. Naturally I have a schedule and things to do and my time is very important to Me. The West Coast tends to be too relaxed for me. I’m used to the hassle of the big city life. On the West Coast you have to drive everywhere, and everything to so spread out. On the East Coast everything is compact and right there with a simple taxi/Bus/Train/Uber.

Trent: When did you come out and how were you received?

Diesel Washington: At 27 years old. We all have our coming stories right? People looked at me differently at first and some even distanced themselves from me. But over time people understood what I was going through and I was well received. Without the support of my family things probably would be different. My mother supported Me throughout everything and even came to the Grabbys (a porn award show)to support me. To this day I am very open and honest with my mother about my journey into porn. I love my mother and she still supports my decision to do this.

Trent: How do you stay in such great shape?

Diesel Washington: I take what the haters and non believers say and turn that into energy for my workouts. All the pressure/drama/B.S that this biz has offer is translated into the weights in every rep and set. Besides I like looking good and leading a healthy lifestyle. I talk a lot of Junk so I make sure I go to the gym to back all the Junk I talk.

How to NOT Pose Like A Porn Star

This week, Titanmen director Jasun Mark took two Titanmen exclusives (Jesse Jackman and Eddy CeeTee) along with newcomer Hugh Hunter to the hot desert sun-soaked Palm Springs retreat and shot three new scenes for upcoming Titanmen movies.

Making the Bacchus Scene

LOTS of requests for more video of François Sagat directing… here’s some fun with Jesse Jackman.

Watching a scene like the Bacchus scene and how it was made demonstrates just how much work and attention to detail and special effects. It was also nice that the gods of thunder and rain cooperated and gave us the perfect touch of a storm while we were shooting.

But to diminish the role of Francois in all of this would be a crime. He’s a creative genius and just watching this movie shows that from start to finish. And we’re very proud of Incubus.
